Simply place the Security Latch on exit doors when the building is cleared and not occupied.  This latch is for a left-hand single door with 7in. deep offset door frame. It rests firmly against the door jamb and opens without key or combination so it can easily attach and detach from doors. This latch is meant to secure an unoccupied building. You can get a cable lock to hold the Security Latch at the location.  If you have a deeper frame and need more depth, 1/4in. Shim Plates are also available.
