Enter your wording, adjust colors and layout, and add a logo or mascot either by uploading your own file or selecting one from our free Logo Design Library. When the design looks right, add it to the cart and check out. You do not need design software or design experience — the templates already carry correct sizing, margins, and legibility standards for the material you picked.

No. The online sign designer is free to use, and there is no art fee for adding your school name, mascot, or logo to a sign. Our Logo Design Library — thousands of in-stock mascots, type fonts, and logo designs — is also available at no charge. You pay for the sign itself, not the design work behind it. If you want our sign department to build the design for you instead of doing it yourself, that is also included; submit your wording and artwork with a quote request.

Yes, every time. After you check out, our sign department creates a mock-up of your design and sends it to you for approval. Nothing goes into production until you approve the proof. This is the step that catches the problems that matter — a misspelled staff name, a room number transposed, a logo that reproduces poorly at the chosen size — and it is why we do not skip it even on repeat orders.

It depends on where the sign goes, and the designer packages are organized around that. Outdoor signs are built in 0.063" aluminum with Engineer-Grade Reflective vinyl or 0.080" aluminum with High-Intensity Prismatic vinyl, both pre-drilled for post or wall mounting. Portable sign posters are 1/8" coroplast sized to fit our A-frame and tip-and-roll frames. Interior signs use high-impact, UV-protected plastic. If you need a material, size, or shape the designer does not offer, we manufacture in house and can quote it as a custom order.

You can order a single sign. Because we manufacture in our own shop rather than brokering to a printer, there is no order minimum and no small-quantity penalty — a school replacing one damaged sign is a normal order for us, not an exception. That also means a district can standardize a design once and then reorder in ones and twos as signs get damaged, instead of buying a large batch to hit a minimum and storing the surplus.
