How to Improve Facility Security with Security Latch

Security Latch: Door Security Bar

The ability to protect assets and lives, privacy and learning, makes security a priority for schools and facilities of all sizes. Your budget may not allow for expensive, advanced security devices, but you can still improve the security of your buildings and stay on budget.

Repairs and replacements due to theft and vandalism can be costly, however, there's a way to secure your facility without exceeding your budget. Security Latch door security bars will add an extra layer of security to facility doors, exit or interior, and is also an inexpensive and easy-to-use solution.

Maximize Security for Entrance Doors

Security Latch door security bars are constructed of mar-proof rubber-like PVC coated steel and have been created to eliminate the need to chain lock exits. The bars allow occupants inside the building to lockdown any exit and interior doors by simply placing the Security Latch bar between the door hardware and door frame.

Specifically designed to eliminate chain locking door exits, Security Latch bars are to be used in buildings that are unoccupied. Prevent unwanted entrance from the outside of your facility, while allowing occupants to exit from inside the building simply by lifting the door security bar.

Note: Please check with your local Fire Department before purchasing Security Latch, as some fire codes may prohibit use.

Cable Locks to Hold Security Latch at Location

Add the Cable Lock option to keep the door security bar at its location. Cable Lock eliminates the potential of someone stealing your Security Latch bar. Made of aircraft cable and combination lock, this cable lock feature will assure your Security Latch bar stays in place.

No keys needed, just a 3-digit combination, simply wrap Cable Lock around the door exit hardware. It does not interfere with Security Latch operation and is perfect for unoccupied lock-down situations or for additional night time security!

Many security measures can be implemented in your facility security plan, but if you’re on a tight budget and need door security that’s quick & easy, look no further - there's a Security Latch product to fit your needs!
